Each foursome consists of a
men’s team and a women’s team; teams are made up of non-standard couples;
wives/husbands/significant others will not be paired together. The two men and the two women will be
separate teams.
Each foursome’s men’s team
and women’s team will compete in “match play” with the team scoring the lowest
net ball winning each hole. Each
foursome will play all 18 holes and count the “match play score” for each hole
regardless of the progressive game score.
Scorecards shall be marked with the winning team on each hole and the
men or women winner of the match and the winner’s “number of ups”.
Winners of all places for
each flight will be based on the “number of ups” for each men and women
team. The Hens/Roosters championship
will be based on the total “number of ups” for each gender.
Handicap: Full dots on scorecard.
Pairings process as follows:
1.
Sort the player
list first by HDCP INDEX, then by gender.
2.
Pair the lowest two
men’s HDCP INDEX with the lowest two women’s HDCP INDEX; the next lowest two
men’s HDCP INDEX with the next lowest two women’s HDCP INDEX, etc. Adjust to non-standard couples.
3.
Equally divide
the field into flights of no more than eight foursomes for each flight. Example: With a field of 32 foursomes, the lowest
8 HDCP INDEXs on the list make up Flight 1, the second lowest 8 HDCP INDEXs
make up Flight 2, etc.
